Fifty Active Listings Is a Lifestyle, Not a Hobby

Garage Sale will let a new seller run fifty live items. After that you rotate like a grocer: suspend the slow stuff, push the fresh stuff, stop photographing every mug you own. Fifty is a shop. Two hundred is a storage unit with a shopping cart.
Shoppers can feel when a sale is curated. Titles make sense. Photos match. Prices were chosen by a human who looked at the screen. They can also feel the 50-item panic dump, where every box in the attic became a listing named "misc / as-is / cute??"
The move is a weekly cull. If it has not had a view in ten days, it is not a star. Suspend it. Relist later with a better photo or a number that admits defeat. The cap exists so the network does not become a landfill with usernames.
Pros get a higher ceiling after they prove they can ship, not after they prove they can upload. That is the inside game. Volume without follow-through is how you meet the dispute desk.
Comments
You can feel the panic dump from the search page. Titles start screaming. I go back to the quiet sales.
Hit 50, panicked, listed mugs named cute??. Then I read this and suspended 12. The sale looks like a shop again.
